The 211 Warmline officially launched during a press event on February 11th (National 211 Day)! This event marked the public promotion of the 211 Warmline, which serves as the District of Columbia’s centralized hub for social service resources and referrals.
The launch event was held at the Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) headquarters, where the 211 Warmline staff are co-located. The event was well attended by CFSA staff, sister agency partners, community members, and representatives of CFSA’s Lived Experience Advisory Council.
At the event, Directors Torres Trice (CFSA) and Bazron (DBH) highlighted the importance of interagency collaboration in making it easier for District residents to navigate social services and access the support they need.
